Benefits Of Actimmune Vial
In Chronic Hepatitis B Virus (Hbv) Infection

Chronic hepatitis B virus infection is a serious infection of the liver that has been there for at least 6 months and still not cured. Actimmune Vial helps treat this infection effectively. It lowers your chances of getting complications such as new infections and improves your quality of life. If this infection is not treated, it can lead to severe liver damage which can cause other life-threatening problems such as liver failure or may be fatal also.

In Chronic Hepatitis C Virus (Hcv) Infection

Actimmune Vial helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines. It is not a cure and should neither be used to prevent HCV infection. It is important that you take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine.

In Multiple Myeloma

If you have multiple myeloma, your body is destroying bone faster than it is being replaced. This makes bones weak and painful and more likely to break. Actimmune Vial may be prescribed along with other medicines. It is an important part of your treatment and increases the survival rate of people with multiple myeloma. This medicine will kill the abnormal cells and prevent their further growth as well as spread to other parts of the body. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get the most benefit. Supplements of calcium and Vitamin D3 are also effective and may be prescribed if you do not have high blood calcium levels.

In Follicular Lymphoma

Follicular lymphoma is a cancer of the white blood cells in our body. White blood cells are those cells that help us to fight infections. Actimmune Vial stimulates the immune system to restrict cancer growth, and blocks the cancer growth. Avoid being in crowds and wash your hands often to prevent any infections. Have plenty of fluids, unless otherwise advised by the doctor not to.

In Hairy Cell Leukemia

Hairy cell leukemia is a kind of blood cancer in which there is excessive production of specific white blood cells (that fight infections) and they resemble hairy-shape when seen under a microscope. Actimmune Vial boosts the immune system to kill the cancer cells and stops them from multiplying. It is an effective medicine but you should discuss the side effects and benefits of this medicine with your doctor. You should avoid drinking alcohol and smoking while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
